London’s Soho has been under threat from developers and gentrification has been pricing out local businesses. This has been a concern for Londoners for years – worried that Soho will sacrifice diversity to make way for chain stores and high street sandwich shops – but now in the wake of Corona lockdown this message feels more poignant than ever.
